Did I sit at home and watch all of the Inaugural festivities in my pajamas and green, furry housecoat on Monday? Yes.
Did I briefly contemplate walking down to see the parade and hoards of people but change my mind because throngs of people moving at a slow place make me anxious? Yes.
Was the weather on Monday nice and balmy compared to yesterday? Yes.
Is it wicked cold in Washington, DC now? Yes.
Is it slightly ridiculous to contemplate running in this weather? Yes.
Did I bundle up and wear three shirts and two two pairs of socks on my run yesterday? Yes. (In case you were wondering I wore pants and shoes too. And a hat. And mittens. And a thing I call a neck snuggie.)
Was I warm? Yes, amazingly.
Was the wind at my back on the way out and in my face on the way in? YES!
Did I ever contemplate not running? NEVER!
